Established in 1989 in Stouffville, Founder Tom Clarkson always insisted on perfection for the client, staff and the work place, and to provide an outstanding service at a fair price. Our company name became “Clarkson Auctions” shortly after launching the business.
Early auction customers saw how serious our dedication was to customer satisfaction, and many of them were asking us to provide them with moving services. Our auction business has always been very busy, as our young family was growing up and taking an important role in the business, it became very clear that even higher levels of customer service and satisfaction was in the making.

Clarkson Auctions & Movers Inc. will always provide you with a Flat-Rate price for your home clean out, junk removal, decluttering or recycling job, during an on site quote. There are no add on fees for anything that we as a company can control. No fuel surcharges, we’ll never ask you for more money because it took more time than we thought, or we needed a second truck.
Be wary of any company that offers a price over the phone. These companies often ask for more money when they arrive, or in the middle of your clean out. We’ve heard horror stories of quotes ballooning to double the price for reasons like “we didn’t know your place had so much stuff upstairs” or “we have to make a second trip”. Insist on an in person, written quote for your own protection.
